Dr. Jason Piccolo is a U.S. Army Veteran, having served active duty and reserve components both domestically and overseas (Iraq). Dr. Piccolo “pivoted” from service in 2006 as an Infantry Captain.
Dr. Piccolo served over 23 years as a federal agent. He brings unique insights into the challenges and opportunities facing transitioning service members and those seeking federal employment.
As a former federal hiring manager and hiring panel member, Dr. Piccolo has firsthand experience in what agencies look for in candidates. His expertise is further enhanced by his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt & Champion certification, which he leverages to help streamline the transition process for veterans.
A dedicated mentor for veterans, service members, and federal employees, Dr. Piccolo continues to serve the community through one-on-one guidance and career development support. He regularly contributes to national media outlets discussing border security and national security issues, and hosts 'The Protectors® Podcast.' He is also the author of 'Unwavering: A Border Agent's Journey.'
